1517. The Legacy Project

1517 The Legacy Project serves churches and the world by providing a safe place for those broken by the church, supplying theological resources to strengthen congregations, and modeling ways of engaging the culture in a manner that is thoughtful, courageous, and Christ-centered.

Here We Still Stand: A Reformation Conference

“Out of love for the truth and the desire to bring it to light…”
—So opened Martin Luther’s 95 Theses on All Hallows’ Eve in 1517.

October 2017 marks the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther nailing his 95 theses to the castle church door in Wittenberg, Germany. This act jump-started the Protestant Reformation that spread the Good News far and wide that God saves sinners by grace alone through faith alone for the sake of Christ alone—that people are justified as a pure gift on God’s part, totally apart from any of our best works or perceived goodness. His salvation is free at the beginning, middle, and end.

This is our legacy as children of the Reformation, and it gives us great cause for both celebration and proclamation in 2017. A celebration of the truths recovered in the Reformation and re-proclamation of them to the world and Church, which seems to be in great danger of forgetting them.

To this end, we are excited to announce:

Here We Still Stand: A Reformation Conference

We have assembled an incredible lineup of over 20 speakers and musicians for this event, and YOU are invited to join us as we examine the men, ideas, and passages of Scripture that sparked the Reformation… and yes—to have a HUGE PARTY!

We don’t want this just to be another conference. We want this to be a celebration! So we’re holding it at a resort where all the speakers and attendees will spend three days dining, singing, and learning together. The sessions, meals, and after parties are all included in your ticket. And in honor of Luther’s 95 Theses, if you register now, tickets are only $95!

The conference will take place at the luxurious Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina from October 19-21, 2017, in beautiful San Diego, California. You will not want to miss this once in a lifetime event as we celebrate what God did 500 years ago to help clarify what He did over 2000 years ago, a short walk outside the gates of Bethlehem! Come join us!
